This is a simple meal that packs a flavor punch! So many herbs, veggies and yumminess on this plate. Tzatziki is one of my favorite sauces and this dairy free version leaves nothing miss out about! Its so so so good!!!
1 pound ground turkey
4 garlic cloves
1/2 red onion
2 huge handfuls of fresh spinach
1 tsp cumin
1/2 cup plain unsweetened dairy free yogurt
1 tblsp mayo
zest of 1 lemon
tsp of fresh dill
1 large garlic clove pasted
For the burgers, mix the turkey meat with cumin, chopped spinach, parsley, garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Form into patties. I grilled my burgers but these would also be great pan fried! While they are cooking make your delicious sauce…Everyone enjoyed this and will enjoy it for days to come on top of salad or alongside another delicious meal. Place everything in a bowl and serve alongside your burgers. I served my burgers with raw onion and tomatoes! This totally mimics a yummy Gyro. A must try!!
