Cranberry, Blueberry and Cacao Sauce

Your thanksgiving table will never be the same once you introduce this low sugar amazingly delicious variation on the traditional sugar loaded cranberry sauce.  This is not only easy to make but made with safe sugar alternatives!  Move over processed sugar…honey and maple syrup are here!  The blueberries help as well with sweetening the tangy cranberries.  Score!

 

2 bags of fresh cranberries

2 cups of frozen or fresh organic blueberries

1 tblsp cacao powder

fresh squeezed orange

1 tsp vanilla paste

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup raw honey

1 tsp maple syrup

 

Put all ingredients in a pot on the stove and add enough water to cover the fruit (about two cups).  Bring to a boil and then lower to a simmer until cranberries are softened and it becomes jam like.  Enjoy!
