Dairy and Gluten Free Cheesecake Baked Apples



These taste just as good as they look!  If your looking for a fall/Thanksgiving guilt free dessert then this is it.  Its low to no added sugar, gluten, and dairy free.  A dessert thats loaded with all things your body needs is a winner in my book!  This is a crowd pleaser and delicious.  A must try this fall!


4 apples

Dairy free plain cream cheese

1 tsp Vanilla Paste

1 tblsp organic maple syrup

1 egg

1 tblsp almond flour

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup gluten free oats

1/2 lemon squeezed

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp apple pie seasoning

1 tsp honey

1 tsp coconut oil

First prep the cheesecake filling.  In a bowl add the egg, dairy free cream cheese (my favorite is kite hill), almond flour, vanilla paste, and maple syrup.  Mix or blend well and put aside while you assemble the other components.  In a seperate bowl mix tougher the crumble topping.  Mix tougher the walnuts, oats, lemon, coconut oil, pie seasoning, honey and cinnamon.  Now cut the tops off the apples and hallow out the center making sure not to cut the skin of the apple.  Now place a layer of the crumble on the bottom of the apple and then top with the cheesecake filling and then top it with more crumble.  I finish it off with placing the apple tops back on the top for baking.  these are so yummy!
