Lightly fried green beans….hello! This was my first attempt and everyone devoured these and don’t get me started on the lemon and garlic aioli. I could take a bath in this sauce! This is a must try❤️
2 tblsp rice flour
2 tblsp arrowroot or tapioca flour
Fresh Green Beans
1 egg
1 tablespoon of soda water
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
avocado and olive oil for frying
First cut the ends off the green beans and wash them. Next in a bowl add the flours, onion powder, garlic powder, egg and soda water, salt/ pepper. Mix it thoroughly! Add in extra soda water until a thin consistency is achieved. Put the green beans in a zip lock bag and pour sauce on top. Shake until all the beans are coated. Heat up a deep sauté pan and add oil until it’s a 1/4 way filled. I use equal parts of avocado and olive oil. Once thoroughly heated add a handful of green beans at a time as to not over crowd the pan. Line a plate with paper towels to soak up the oil once cooked. I cooked mine slightly al dente.
Sauce:
zest of one lemon
2 pasted garlic bulbs
salt/pepper
2 tblsp unsweetened plain cashewgurt or almond yogurt
1 tsp mayonnaise
Mix everything together and enjoy!!!! Delicious!
Scrumptious! Better than the Japanese restaurants. A must try!
