Vegan Bread


Dairy, egg, and gluten free bread


  • 3/4 cup Tapioca starch
  • 1/2 cup flax meal
  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup gf oats
  • 1 1/2 cup of warm water
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp manuka honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • optional add in’s:  seeds, nuts, dried fruit, fresh herbs


Put oven on 350 to pre-heat.

Place yeast and sugar in the warm water and set aside.  In a large bowl mix tapioca, flax, rice flour, and oats together.  After about 10 minutes of yeast mixture sitting add in apple cider vinegar, oil, honey, and salt.  Incorporate wet and dry ingredients together thoroughly.  Put bowl aside to let dough rise for a minimum of 30 minutes.  Once risen punch the dough with your hand and gently mix.  Grease a bread pan with coconut oil and place dough in pan and set aside to rise again for at least 30 minutes.  Once done rising, cook in oven for about 45 minutes or until crusty on the outside.  This bread does not need to be refrigerated.  No one will know its vegan!!! It’s so delicious and filled with protein and nutrients! You have to try this.
