I mean, what?!!! I dare you to try these!!! We devoured them.
4 Swiss red chard leaves sliced very thin
1 huge handful of fresh cilantro
1 whole white onion
1 large red pepper
1 lb ground turkey
1 head of cabbage
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon curry
1/2 teaspoon garlic
1/2 teaspoon onion
1 tsp parsley
1 teaspoon coconut aminos
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon rice vinegar
salt/pepper
sauce:
2 tablespoons unsweetened sun butter
1 teaspoon coconut aminos
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
brown meat in a little oil and add in garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, cumin, curry, salt and pepper. Once all cooked through add in coconut aminos and vinegar. Put in a bowl and set aside. In same pan sauté the veggies! Chopped (not diced) onion and red pepper, salt and pepper. Once done put in bowl and set aside. Fill the same pot with water and boil. Turn it down to a simmer and add in cabbage leaves for about thirty seconds and transfer to a paper towel lined plate. Once done set aside. Add all sauce ingredients together in s bowl. Slice the Swiss red char very fine. Chop the fresh cilantro and mix the two together (make sure you go heavy on the cilantro!
Place all components on the serving table. To assemble place a mildly soft cabbage leave on your plate, then add a good amount of chard and cilantro mixture, then a layer of peppers and onions and then ground turkey. Finally, the very last layer….the delicious sun butter sauce! Stop the deliciousness!!!😋
