This might easily be one of my favorite dishes of all time! So full of flavor!!!
4 large turkey legs
1/2 cup kalamata olives
1 sliced green pepper
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 whole head of garlic roughly chopped
1/4 cup bone broth
1 can tomatoes
1 whole spaghetti squash
salt/pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
Heat your Dutch oven on the burner with olive oil. Season the turkey legs with salt and pepper and brown them in the oil. Once browned, place to the side. Chop and sauté in the same Dutch oven the onion, garlic, mushrooms, sliced green pepper, salt/pepper. Once Sautéed add the broth, tomato sauce, olives and seasonings. Add the turkey legs back in, cover and transfer to the oven. Cook at 350 degrees for 2-3 hours or until falling off the bone. I serve this with plain spaghetti squash. Simply over the top delicious!
Amazing flavor with saltiness of the kalamata olives. Meat falls off the bone!
